We had 6 x ~50min games with 4.5 girls for 5 games and then 4 girls for the last game. Lots of sprinting on sand, suitably tiring and tough on my feet, calves, and right groin area ish.
LOTS of fun despite the meh weather and subpar BC sand.

I got on MUCH better today and really understood the map. Also found out what I'll be spending all fall / winter working on - NOT HESITATING! I spent way too much time double checking myself. There were no bobbles this race, I was able to go "and my control will be right here - YES!" on numerous occasions so I need to learn now to have the confidence to just do it!
Really happy with my 7-8 and I herded cows (mom and two yearlings) from 9-10 haha.

I was happy this whole race well not quite when it was raining rather cold rain towards the end. I didn't have a great race but not quite a terrible one either. I felt a little like I was bumbling along and things were mostly working out. I did a LOT of walking trying to be really sure of myself. The map and I never quite seemed to get on.
I had one leg that felt GREAT which was 11-12 and it turned out I won that split!
Did as much rolling as I could take on the calves (5:16.57), the quads (5:46.48), and the remainder on hamstrings. Then massaged my left ankle with voltaren and compression sock'd up as that really seemed to help.
