Starting out with Jude and Hill, then Hill and I . An interesting discussion on the mental aspect of being an elite athlete.

Over to the NU track to check out activity. Looks like the UA girls track team is practicing there, which means it's likely the barriers will be left open, so the track may be available for some running.

Blue Hills. Met up with the Sunday morning TARC group, one guy named Dave from Providence this morning. He had some TARC 50 miler and 50 K maps. First off for the end of the 50 miler route around Ponkapoag Pond, then the opening miles of the 50 miler (and 50 K). I turned around at Rt 28, he was going for 4 hours. On the way back I decided to run the end of the 50 K, and get in a half marathon.
