orienteering race 58:30 [3] ***** 5.0 km (11:42 / km)

Pawtuckaway ..always intense.

canoe-O 1:02:00 [3] ** 3.0 mi (20:40 / mi)

On Pawtuckaway Lake. Jude and I got 11 of the controls. Had to fend off Sam and Ross at one of them, but they still beat us.
Nice to have Bundschuh's kevlar canoe and composite paddles. When I think about the canoe I used in my teens (fiberglass over wood), I'm spoiled now.

Hiking/walking 2:00:00 [1] ** 5.0 mi (24:00 / mi)

Decided to explore a new locale, Tully Lake, Royalston, MA.
Sam Jude and I drove out and got a topo trail map from the ranger. Very popular place for kayakers on the Tully Lake and River. Nice walk- in campground.
First hiked to Doane's Falls than drove over to foot of Tully Mt and hiked up to the first decent overlook,
