This middle distance course was probably my best of the weekend. I used a damage-control mentality, taking it very slowly so as to minimize error time. I was very cautious running to number four, and expected to see it earlier than I did. I lost a little time there. To number five, I found myself in the wrong reentrant, but I was able to relocate quickly. Number nine was my worst leg. I attacked it twice from two different angles, and I found it the second time. Overall, I probably had 2-4 minutes of total error time.

This was the long distance race at Boggs Mountain. It was a terrible race for me. I had difficulty finding controls four and eight. I made a costly route choice error to number eleven. On the way to number seventeen, towards the end of the course, I was running along a trail and entirely stopped reading the map. Without thinking, I kept running way after I should have left the trail. It was not too long before I noticed the blunder, but it still was a costly mistake.

This was the sprint course at the Boggs Mountain A-meet. I had significant mistakes to numbers two and eight, and I made smaller mistakes on a few others. Overall, I was unhappy with my performance.
