Enjoyed an hour of snow skiing, sledding, and hiking while on a retreat. A little sick today and the following day.

Long run with a marathoner in a blizzard! Pace varied throughout, but certainly increased on the return trip to around 5:50 mile near the end. Ran on snow-covered fields and roads--with plenty of hills throughout. I used basic orienteering skills to guide our run and return safely--since we were on unfamiliar turf in Albany, NY.

Warm up. Group stretches for 10 minutes. 40 min bike. Armchair orienteered during bike. Cooled down. Core work--pull up, pushup sets. Recovered.

Warm up mile. Two long mountain climbs (~150-200m each). Mile cool down. Stretches.

Almost all trails--tough mountain climb trails.

Long rainy run on road. First four miles were gradual incline, at a steady pace. Last four were slight incline, increasing the intensity to about a 4 average.
