Traralgon parkrun official opening. Surprisingly I had the motivation to get up at 7am and register for parkrun and head to Traralgon and made it there for a 5min warm up. First the first 500m there were the typical 50+ yo men going hard and a 10yo girl who was impressive. I thought I wasn't going too hard until I saw the first km was 3.36 and knew soon after my legs were going to jelly and it was going to be a tough next 4km. At the first turn the guy in front starting to come back and I passed him just after half way. Didn't push too hard after that as my legs were toast. Not much competition but always nice to win. Nice turn out of over 100 runners.

Headed to Latrobe River for a paddle after the run. Water was much lower than last time I was hear and there were heaps of obstacles to negotiate. My arse was very uncomfortable for the last 20mins and I was happy to get out of the boat.
Need to pick up the paddling if I want to retain my position of Team Tecnu's number one paddler...
Got a call from work as soon as I finished paddling and only had an hour to get to the office. Unusual to start a shift at 1pm but it was good that I'd already done some training first.

morning pram run with Mattias and Ollie. Definitely harder work with two kids rather than one. My headcold came back last night and this run was just an avenue to remove all the snot from by body.

Arvo paddle in the Spirit ski. Its bloody heavy but moves pretty well on flat water. I did the same time as the other day in the carbon fenn, but that was windy.
