Ran day 1 of o course and got 3rd place for day 1. Jacked up a 2 points resulting in a major delay. Day 2 good on finding the points except went slower than i should bc i spent too much time lookin at my compass. 2nd place day 2. More details to come when i figure out how to write a formal race analysis

day 1- i have a vague memory of the first 11 points but main issues were points 12 and 14. point 12 i decided to take the shoreline to get to the point, which was a bad idea and ended up over shooing it. i ended up on the tip of the peninsula and thought that was where the point was. i ran around that area looking for the point until i hit the trail and decided to go south because i figured there was a possibility i was on that peninsula, which i was. ran south/east and hit the trail splits and a small wooden building. from here i knew i where i was and proceeded to head north/east on the trails to get to 12, which after i orientated myself i knew how to get to the point.13 to 14 i ended up running south (idk why) but ended up on the east/west trail that leads to the start area. i knew where i was so i ended up taking the baby trail that branches off that main trail. my original plan was to take the baby trail and take an immediate left when i hit the trail splits but ended up doing a full circle and ended up at the same area where i started. (idk how i guess i was so close to the finish that i rushed everything and wasnt paying attention) was dazed for a bit and finally orientated myself to find point 14. from there everything was a breeze. finished in 1 hr 23 minutes? something like that. not the best time. shooting for under an hour next time for oranges but placed 3rd on day 1. yay! ill try and upload the picture of the course if this site will let me.
