Much better conditions at Pattee today, as they groomed more and the snow firmed up overnight. Was able to push a bit harder, but still feeling very slow while skating.

We finally got some snow in town, so I went up to Pattee Canyon for a quick skate ski. The snow was pretty soft, and it was tough going, plus I am out of shape, but still a good time.

Rowing 30:00 intensity: (15:00 @1) + (15:00 @4)

Rowing the weekly Hydrow race plus warmup. Felt weak today - probably still recovering from the cold that knocked us all out over the weekend. Did the fifteen minute "race" at just below 2:00/ 500m.

Additional "training" today consisted of chasing the dog who was chasing a heard of deer through the snow. This was weighted training, as I had Inara on my shoulders. The deer won and managed to ditch all of us, and we lost track of the dog. Ended up scouring the area for him for a long time until giving up and heading home, where he greeted us with loud howling at the front door.
