Running 15:00 [2] 1.67 mi (8:59 / mi)
shoes: VJ - Cleats

Warm-up for Flying Pig Long.

Orienteering race 1:31:43 [4] ***** 12.1 km (7:35 / km) +420m 6:28 / km
shoes: VJ - Cleats

Flying Pig Classic.
A nice, steady race for me with no major mistakes except a stupid route choice on 15, where I went straight but was too scared to go on the "white" side of the stream, not wanting to go out of bounds. Ended up stuck in the green for a while.
Otherwise, a decent race though my back was hurting on the uphills towards the end.
Qualified for WOC! (Though it would be cool if Brian, Kenny, Mikell all went. Hopefully next year...)

Running 20:00 [2] 2.22 mi (9:01 / mi)
shoes: VJ - Cleats

Warm-up in the rain for Flying Pig middle.

Orienteering race 48:05 [4] ***** 5.5 km (8:45 / km) +260m 7:04 / km
shoes: VJ - Cleats

Flying Pig Middle.
An awful race - had real trouble pushing up the hills - felt like I was sliding back tweo steps for every one forward. Made 2 ~2:40-min mistakes, on 2 and then on 12 after specifically telling myself to attack 12 carefully. Very unhappy with myself afterwards.

Running 30:00 [2] 3.33 mi (9:01 / mi)
shoes: VJ - Cleats

Warm-up and cool-down for Flying Pig Sprint

Orienteering race 17:26 [5] ***** 2.7 km (6:27 / km)
shoes: VJ - Cleats

Flying Pig Sprint.
A decent race - had Dan Stoll in sight pretty early, but took a while to catch him due to poor route choices to 4 and 7. Then saw Sergey V and Kenny catching up, and had to work hard to stay away from them. Still, a solid start to the week-end.
