Note

Does anyone out there (not located too far away from New Haven) have a campervan, small RV, or sleeper trailer (like a Teardrop) that they would be willing to rent to us from the middle of June to the middle of July?
We are thinking of driving out to our wedding in California and then doing some traveling out west (possibly hitting NAOC) before coming back East again. Any tips on a cheap way to do this that does not involve sleeping in our Honda Accord would be appreciated!

Note

Our first wedding present just came in the mail, and it looks like a big box of yum!!!! Can't wait to open it when Kat gets home!

Jogging over to the track to meet Becky and a couple of laps around the track for warm-up.

Running 42:11 intensity: (12:23 @1) + (16:58 @2) + (12:50 @5) 4.88 mi (8:39 / mi) +31m 8:29 / mi

Following the advice I got here after my 5km debacle last week, here is an attempt to ease into speedwork with some intervals. Decided to do 400's followed by a few 200's. According to Jack Daniels, my 400m interval pace should be 86. Really? That sounds slow. I tried running that, but obviously failed:

77

Had slightly over 1 minute rest between intervals, as I started with Becky each time. This felt ok, not too hard, so I decided to do the 200's as planned, just four of them:

Definitely glad to have Becky there for the workout. Way more fun with company!
I love looking at the GPS track and the speed graph for track workouts. Very amusing.
