first mile had two huge fallen beech trees across the trail. crawled under the first, clambered over the second. The swampy area in the second mile was pretty soupy.

Union County Schools nature study area. cleaned up a little honeysuckle and fallen limbs, planted a few small trees (3 black walnut, 3 pawpaw, 2 persimmon) in areas where honeysuckle has been recently cleared.
