OJoy's Advanced Course number 2 at North Central High School in Indianapolis. A fun, sprinty type event with lots of uncrossable traps.

Sprint number 1 felt a LOT slower. I was definitely tired. And I blew 2 minutes trying to go through the woods when I should have gone around. But although this course was measured (straight line) at almost the same as course 2, the shortest runnable distance was probably at least 10% longer. So that accounts for some, but not all of my slowness.

GOAT 5 km race. Might have been a bit less than 100m short of 5 km, but with significant uphills in km 2 and 4, although a net elevation loss from km 1,3, and 5. Some dispute about the length - my GPS watch showed exactly 3.00 miles, and my watch invariably loses a little bit on 180 degree turns - the route was an out-back-out-back-out for a km each way.

Search for 2 different kids with reported injuries during motala course. Both mild ankle sprains / cramps. Mix of trail and terrain running, walking and orienteering. A couple round trips between event start/finish and parking/download.
