green course at Miami Natural Areas. Ground was reasonably solid (frozen) in most places, but splashing thru Harker's Run 3 different times was a bit chilly. No crossing deeper than ankles, though. Through the forest and across the stream from green 7 - 8 (red 9 - 10) was definitely faster than I can run the trail around, by perhaps a minute to a minute and a half.

running yellow course at MU Natural Areas (from last Saturday, for comparison for kids). Easy navigation. The surface had thawed, so trails were a slippery surface over frozen ground. I had intended to use icebugs or O' shoes but had forgotten to bring them. They probably would have saved a few seconds, especially on the hillier parts of the trail between 1 and 3. The course was mostly a trail run with only a few reasonable opportunities to cut thru forest.
