West coast ride.

Event: Bull Creek
 

Medium course at Bull Creek MetrO. My goal here was to select a route including the actual Bull Creek, which I'd never seen despite my parents living in the suburb from 1972 to 2017 (their house was on the map, near control 7). As the creek was in the far NE of the map I suspected it would not be a good route, but turns out it might have been had I done it better. I totally misread the paths along the creek and got on the wrong one for 24, but thought I was right so spent ages searching before giving up and going on to 25. Didn't realise why I hadn't found it until a closer look at the map at home.

1-5-9-11-17-23-25-12-18-19-13-14-15. Should have got 24 instead of 19 and maybe got 26 instead of 9.

To Cannington bike shop to see what pedals they have for the new bike, then back through Ferndale and Rossmoyne. First time down the Armadale rail path along Rutland Ave, hadn't really known it was there. Seemed to be a lot more trains than on the Midland line because I managed to catch all the many level crossings closed except for Welshpool Rd.

Around the river, met Noel at EF, he wasn't too well having had Moderna booster yesterday and my arm was still sore from Pfizer on Tuesday so we limped up the rail path to Swanbourne to meet PP.

After coffee PP wanted to go around through Dalkeith, then we stopped to loan a roadie a pump. After that, going through the city PP stacked it on the low kerb on the bike path near the busport and knocked a fair bit of skin off her elbow.
