Bassendean ride, feeling very stiff from yesterday's fall. A rain-free ride at last, but lots of crap to be washed off the bike now.

Event: Bush 8 Gunapin Ridge Middle Distance SOL
 

H4 course at Gunapin State League (GPS 2.87kms). Nice little course and was going well until the second last (8) where I lost a good 6-7 mins and any chance of top OY score. Stupid route choice trying to go straight and looking far too early. 7 was already low, so should have gone along the bottom of the slope to the bare rock below the control - apparently the control was visible up the hill from there.

Second course (H3) at Gunapin. Walked a lot, fell over, and had several episodes of breathing issue - but no mistakes. Also got heavily rained on for 10-15 minutes. Fall was quite heavy and winded me, but no damage (I think), and no blood. Sat on rocks for a minute or two at 7, 9 and 11.

Course 4 - Splits

Around the river and up to Swanbourne, then back to Mosman for physio. Rained from Como to Attadale, then again in Cottesloe, and again going home after physio. Mainly drizzle, nothing like the heavy squalls of the past week.

Bassendean ride, strong wind from SW, and a squally shower or two.
