Orienteering race 58:49 [3] 4.5 km (13:04 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X Talon 212

E4 course at Julimar, not trying to run hard as wasn't sure how the calves would go. Jogged about 2/3, walked the rest. Couple of controls were well-hidden and dropped around 8 mins. L. calf starting to tighten up a bit on the last couple of legs.

Freeway - Russell Rd - Woodman Point - Freo - river to Canning Bridge - home. Very windy, got soaked going and coming back by wave spray on the freeway path near Canning Bridge, but didn't get rained on. Coffee and blueberry danish at La Vespa in Sth Freo.

Hyde Park jog to test out the calf. Felt like it started to tighten, but ok when I slowed a bit.

Walk/jog in Kings Park, running part was around 2.5km. Walked all the hills and a couple of times when the calf felt like it was tightening up. Should be ok for a proper run in a few days.
