steeplechase!!!!! it was actually refreshing jumping into the water pit this time cause it was soooo incredibly hot!!! felt super duper tired this week though and definitely not quite as strong as last week. i wasn't hurdling the steeples right at all (except for the last which i ust did so perfectly, it was beautiful... tear :)) was in 5th for most of the race, and then moved up into 4th for the last lap cause i have some beef with the girl who was in 4th. therefore, i've qualified for eossa which shall be quite the adventure!!! :P

really did not want to run this week but i did much better than i thought i would. blew the start pretty badly and ended up in this big pack. spent the rest of the race trying to move up one person at a time, but there was there was this one girl who just kept sprinting ahead every single time i tried to pass her. oh bother. eventually though she burnt out and it was just me and this other girl in 5th and 6th. one of us wasn't going to qualify. oooh man!!!! last 100m and we both start our kick. last 50m i get appendixitis or whatever it's called. at least i though that's what it was until i realized that the pain was on my right side. it still super duper hurt and so i kinda ran the last little bit on a tilt trying to breathe and not curl up and die. yupyup so much fun. came 6th, just outside of qualifying but i don't really mind cause now i can just empty the tank for the steeplechase!!

what a blustery day!!!! thought i was going to just blow away across the experimental farm, but no i managed to stay on the ground the whole way home!! phew!!

dragged myself out for hills just after 9. and i must say that it was quite enjoyable. i thought it would be all spooky on the hill in the dark, but there were 2 baseball games happening so i had lots of light and great entertainment the whole time!!! :P the only complaint is the lights were just the right height that when i was running towards the edge of the hill at the top they were shinging right in my eyes. this resulted in a strange feeling of blindly running towards the edge of a cliff. quite exciting really. :P
pretty swell times and i only gave myself 1min rests inbetween each set.
