Livelox
This is my first time using Livelox and I'm in love!!

Ooh la la a fresh new map, thank you Carl! What a joy to be able to rely on vegetation for once. This course was fun. It did feel a bit like a "runners" course which is not my fav. The flags were fairly easy to spot once you were in the circle and there were plenty of legs with obvious trail route choices.

On the way to 3 I mistakenly read "8" as "3" and started navigating to the wrong control. I didn't realize it until leaving the trail south of 8. Oopsies! Probably lost a few mins there but I think it could've been worse and I'm proud of myself for being able to refocus quickly. Looking at splits I guess I should've taken the trail route choices to 5 and 8 instead of sticking closer to the line. I was clearly enjoying the runnable woods too much!

Note

Went to see an orthopedist today about my ankle since it’s given me issues for 5+ years at this point. Turns out I had a tiny fracture from a while ago that has since healed on its own, my theory is it happened in Dec 2015 when I had a really bad sprain.
Going to start PT to strengthen the ankle and surrounding muscles hopefully soon!

There were soooo many people along the river today, like too many. Hard to get into the flow when you have to dodge people every few minutes. This felt difficult.
