Lacrosse 1:30:00 [3]

Busy busy practice today in preparation for a big game tomorrow. It will be a challenge for us because we lost to this team by four goals earlier in the season.

Note

Getting out of bed was hard this morning. My lower back is stiff and my left leg and arm are bruised pretty bad.

Lacrosse 45:00 [3]

Short practice because we went to watch the boys play Bedford. They lost... At least we beat them!

Lacrosse 50:00 [4]

Wow, this was a brutal game. 85 degrees against an evenly matched team. They were mean. Like really mean, both to us and to their own teammates. I got really beat up and almost had to come off at one point... Instead I sucked it up and put the ball in the back of the net. HA Bedford. We won 11-8.

Running (Warm Up) 13:00 [3]

Orienteering race 1:01:17 [3]

More mistakes today starting off with a blow up on the first control. I'm actually pretty proud of myself for quickly realizing I had gone too far and confidently turning 180 degrees around to head back towards the control. I'm definitely becoming more flexible mentally and less stubborn when it comes to mistakes which equals less relocation time. With such a narrow margin between Emma and I on the first day and the fact that I was being chased by the rest of the F-20 class, there was plenty of motivation for me to push myself physically, and by the end I was wiped.
