Orienteering 2:13:21 [5] 13.1 km (10:11 / km)

This was one of the most memorable races of my orienteering career. It was great to tag along with Peter, Katia, Mika, JJ, Clint and others to get a sense of the speed I should be navigating at. Peter came from behind around control 7 and I stuck with him and Katia for most of the course (beating him to a few controls :D) with at least two differing route choices but ending up back together somehow. At control 18 I fell and slowed down considerably for the next leg up a very steep hill causing me to lose track of Katia and Peter. I along with many others had problems at 19 and lost up to five minutes blindly stumbling around in thick green. The last two controls were painful and slow, but on target.

(My knees didn't bother me at all once they loosened up! But my legs felt like jello by the end of the course.)
