Ti-Tree Trail<>Track to Nowhere, Berowra. A bit stop-start in the muddy areas. Tried to rearrange the rocks at a water crossing to make the next MTB ride a bit smoother. Tired on the later hills. 21°C. TE 2.9.

"Nerrina", Ballarat. M60 / Course 3: 19km, +350m, 10c. 6th/12 (17:41 behind PowA). 16°C. TE 4.0.
Most legs had a longer potentially faster track option. Possibly picked the wrong option for #4, 6 & 7.
Only measurable time loss was on #10 (+4:50). Couldn't find the right track leading to the finish. Cost me 5th place.
Best leg: #5 (1st/12). Best pos: 3rd/12 (#2-3). Worst pos: 6th/12 (#7, 10-F).

"Nerrina", Ballarat. M60 / Course 3: 12.4km, +415m, 14c. 11th/13 (42:31 behind PowA). 16°C. TE 4.0.
Event centre for all three races was Little Ballarat Primary School. Glad they had a hose to wash the bike and map board down between races.
Very muddy, especially 10-11 leg. Wore my Goretex jacket to keep out the wind and rain. Very technical section in the early controls (S-3) and later ones (12-14).
Time losses: #2 - Couldn't decipher the track network (+2:45). #4 - Wrong track at junction (+11:50). #5 - Missed track (+5:30). Total est time lost: 20:05.
Best legs: #1,13 (5th/13). Best pos: 5th/13 (#1). Worst pos: 12th (#3-12).

"Monte Christo", Ballarat. M60 / Course 3: 7.1km, +175, 12c. 6th/12 (7:13 behind PowA). 18°C. TE 3.9.
Weather more pleasant. Enjoyed the mix on urban and park trails.
Only time loss on #4 when I missed the track and went down a hill (+1:15).
Best leg: #11 (3rd/12). Best pos: 6th/12 (#4-F). Worst pos: 10th/12 (#1-3).

Dropped car off at Pennant Hills. Brekkie at Maccas Thornleigh. Train from Thornleigh to Berowra. Walk home. Up to the medical centre and back for a flu vax. Due to pick up the car this afternoon but they want to keep it overnight so the chief mechanic can test drive it tomorrow morning plugged into the diagnostic reader.

Just a short hit out without too many hills. Finally got the Reliver Level 5 badge for 1000 hours of outdoor activity. Took just under 2 years to achieve. Level 6 is 2000 hours but I get credit for the first 1000.
