Great Falls, MD Intermediate in the lovely snowy woods. Got stupidly lost right out of the start and found #2 first so had to go back for #1. Why am I always doing stuff like this? More or less okay after that.

Didn't want to put in contacts today so went in glasses and jeans planning to walk. But after making that huge mistake felt the need to make up some time by trotting. Good to know that even if the eye thing hasn't healed to my satisfaction by Saturday I should still be able to run, hopefully without getting a headache or losing the glasses altogether.

To Mall from work, around a few times, and back. Both calves started to tighten after about an hour, with the right side predictably starting earlier and ending up feeling worse. Feet and ankle area not feeling great at the moment, either. Otherwise, I feel okay and still somewhat energetic.
