Green Course at White Clay Creek. I was talking with one of the veterans who was getting back into the sport after some time off and he said that he has a map of this facility from 1995. He mentioned how much greener it is now and how much more open the woods were back then. It was a well designed course, which emphasized being able to avoid the most tulgy of the woods, but not all of them. I wore the body armor jacket and insect repellent pants (permethrin) and only lost a drop or two. I saw some who ran in short sleeves donated far more to the 'blood club'.

Got to chat with anniemac and Brian briefly. Hope that they were able to enjoy themselves as much as I did.

My lovely wife got me a new pair of O shoes for Christmas (well, I ordered them - Inov8's light electric blue). Friends furlong47 and others informed me that they tend to run tight in the toe box and will need some stretching out, so I thought that a walk on the yellow course as a NC would be good to break them in and widen them a bit. It will take a few more times of supplemental courses to get there as far as shoe comfort goes (as comfy as O shoes can get).

No GPS track, but it pretty much point to point. :-)

Ran into a letterboxing friend afterwards and I was able to trade her a mewtwo she needed on Pokemon go.
