Orienteering 1:18:13 [3] 4.41 mi (17:44 / mi) +144m 16:06 / mi

Fun Green Course set by Wyatt Riley at Springton Manor (sing the song, doo-dah, doo-dah!).

Found 4 prior to 3 so refinding 3 was better. Some trouble on 5, but I relocated off a charcoal platform. 6 also - needed to relocate off a trail/gully intersection. 8 was tricky, there was an army looking at all the boulders in the area. Got caught in the swamp on the way to 10, so I fought my way through the thicket and stone wall to a field border. All the others, I felt pretty happy about.

My basic goal for each event is to finish in the top half of green - hopefully that happened.

Time to ice the achilles!

Rehid a letterbox and planted a new one.

What do you call this?

Cello? Wyatto? RileyO?

Basically a white level fun walking course that you read off of your smart phone:

Ran into a very lost scout at control 4 and showed him how to follow the black dashed lines to find the remaining controls. His phone was having trouble re-rendering the pdf file, but I think it was because he was trying to do too much with it.

Saw the mighty Len powering through what I am guessing is red at the time.

I do love teaching kids this stuff.
