Doing yaller today as I was volunteering and not registered. Taught myself how to use the new thumb compass. Slick device!

Helping out out at FCSP A Meet. Running finish, walking to and fro numerous times.

Control pickup at the A meet. It was actually more adventurous than one would think....

Couple "good deeds". Was able to direct a kindof lost couple that we were concerned about to where they should be going twice. They made it back.They wanted to challenge themselves and I applaud that.

Also ran into a cadet that seemed to be fried and needing to get back to the base. Directed him which trails to take. He did make it back safely and I am glad for that.

Helped to look for another lost cadet (via car, so it does not count for anything other than being a good person). He ended up being OK.

Thankfully, all made it back safely.

If these sorts of of things happens in a well developed park like French Creek, imagine what can happen in the wilds of Hay Creek tomorrow. Wishing all well and true compass bearings.
