Nice run around the lake by Wellesley. Beautiful day! I also should have drank more before I started, I was pretty thirsty so I stopped by the Wellesley campus center to get something to drink. I also ate a pizza and two brownies, which didn't bother me at all while running. Yay for stomach training :)

10 x 400m, with a target of 95s for each. I thought the track in the gym was air-conditioned, but I was wrong! It was really sticky and hot and stuffy in there. Oh well, I guess I got some heat training in.

Easy recovery jog after the Billygoat. My legs are tired, but I was surprisingly un-sore.

Note

Benefits of running at dusk:

1) It's no longer blazing hot.

Downsides of running at dusk:

1) Bugs
2) BugsBugs
3) BugsBugsBugsBugsBugsBugsBugs

Seriously though, at the start there were just a few bugs but about ten minutes passed and towards the end it was like I was running through a solid wall of gnats.

Orienteering (Billygoat!) 2:58:06 [3]

So much fun at the Billygoat! I still had some large-ish errors, but I think better than last year so yay! I'll try to write a more detailed reflection later.
