Bicycling 1:20:00 [3] 18.5 mi (4:19 / mi)
shoes: Ben's bike shoes

Carter Point & back with Dids. Left knee had some pain. Started out in fog but then it cleared into a lovely September day.

Core - pushups etc 10:00 [3]

Running 23:45 [4] 3.0 mi (7:55 / mi)
shoes: Cascadias

3-way trail/driveway route. Concluded (for not the first time) I really don't like the Cascadias - too jarring plus got right knee pain after a few minutes. Whole point of these shoes was to avoid that via more stability. Will go back to Hokas. Wish I had an easy way of trying various shoes before buying. No good running shoe stores (a la Marathon Sports) up here that I know of.

Core - pushups etc 10:00 [3]

Want to get to ability to do 10 pullups regularly. Right now tend to top out at 8 or 9. Perhaps writing this down as a goal will help.

Orienteering race (Camping O - Red) 1:02:46 [4] 5.7 mi (11:01 / mi) +100m 10:27 / mi
shoes: newer Oroc 340s

Good run overall for Pawtuckaway. Slept poorly (I am not a camper), but coffee and some oatmeal seemed to cover that. Only bad control was #5, for which I'll blame my desire to quickly leave Jim A behind after #4. Misread which marsh I was following and took a long time to figure that out (with Jim, who eventually came along). "Plan" to #8 veered from script, but map-read in to it anyway. Again, pleased with the physical piece.

It was nice to see my O friends - I miss them!

Then 4.5 hours back to Brooklin. Stopped at Market Basket in Epping to save a bit of $ on wine, beer and dark chocolate, but the long checkout lines made it almost not worth it. Almost.
