Golf course loop w/Dusty and Maya. Hammies were screaming from deads yesterday. Good shakeout. Took the written test for Prince William Fire today. First step in trying to get the heck out of IL.

Trying out a potential new affiliate in VA, CF Woodbridge. Decent workout. Wish they would do a strength or skill portion prior to the WOD. At any rate, it was nice to have solid female competition during a workout.

Parts of the CCT w/D. She was on her CX, and I was on Evelyn. Had to work pretty hard on the hills to keep up, which was good. Includes stoppage time and time to break the ice off the stepping stones at the creek crossings. Great to ride outside again!

Quick out and back on the local trail from the house with the hound. Maya was in heaven. She's an awesome training partner, esp at night when she cant see anything to hunt! Used the light belt that I won at VQ. Comes in handy for runs like this.

Note

drove from IL to VA in the wake of snowmageddon w/dusty and 2 dogs. took us 15.5 hrs. the state of IN was a sheet of ice. crazy drive. i didn't know driving required that much concentration.

Not at home so no spin bike or rower available. Tried to go to 2 gyms and later rent skis. Everything is closed due to weather. Attempted a run. Layers felt great, but the few inches of skin around my eyes couldn't handle the cold. Eyelashes froze. Temp at run time was -9 with -40 windchill. Road trip to VA tomorrow. So long gross weather!
