hiking/ walking 30:00 [2]

Only time for a shorter walk. Stayed with pavement, but felt OK walking just as did yesterday. I still can't lie down but feel OK moving around the rest of the day. What seems to matter most if my breathing or talking. I guess the Fineview stepathon crossed some kind of line with my breathing rate. I guess something that was irritated first during the bike crash. Coupled with my back tightening after Dr. Ed, when I started pushing up Textor school rd. on Wednesday that crossed a major line and my side blew out. I don't know how long this is going to take until I can run again. I am fine moving around, but not even breathing the little bit harder I do when I walk. There is a marked improvement in how I can move and walk from last week. A huge improvement, but I am still so far from being able to race in less then 2 weeks at Sweat for Vets.

hiking/ walking 1:30:00 [1]

Walking with Gail and pushing Claire in Bob on Bike path at Ohiopyle. Felt good to travel, even if I couldn't really do anything great in the woods. We just walked 4 miles on the bike path. My side felt fine walking, but talking and breathing really bothered it.

hiking/ walking 30:00 [1]

Went for very slow walk with Gail and Claire on Harmony Trail. Side is slowly improving in how I can move around. I can't lie down or sleep at all and but my back feels better on the weekend. I still feel side in every movement, but I am not quite as guarded as I was at work on Thursday and Friday.

hiking/ walking 20:00 [1]

I tried a short walk on trails up on the ridge. I may have made it in total about 200 meters. My side just could not handle the steps. My bike is killing me at work and killing me trying to sleep. I can't even reach over to use the phone for calls at work. I have never experienced anything like this. I feel like I am swollen all over. My side is so vulnerable. I can't do anything.

Wanted a great fall run after Dr. Ed. with a great climb up the Textor Hill dirt road. I got half or so. I got a beautiful fall day and a nice 2 mile run, but then my side exploded 2 miles in like nothing I have ever experienced. Every movement walking the rest of the run hurt immensely. I could barely move the rest of the night.

ARC Trainer 20:00 [2]

after getting off the bike I moved over to the ARC trainer and did 20 minutes, which was better.

PT 20:00 [2]
