Other (Trail workday) 1:30:00 [3]

I only logged about 1/2 the time we were out there, but I guess it doesn't really matter since we aren't posting on fb anymore.

Trail building days remind me once again that I don't do much physical labor. Rerouted a section of trail 3 and then spent the rest of the time "de-berming"...basically knocking off the raised edges of the downhill side of the trails. This was made particularly fun because the trail was frozen, so it was like chipping away at concrete. Actually, it was like chipping away at a gigantic frozen block of chocolate, which made me both tired AND hungry.

Trail running (Little Woods) 39:27 [3] 2.4 mi (16:26 / mi) +255ft 14:56 / mi

Ran/hiked with Patrick. Still a layer of slimy mud on top, making the trails not so fun for running. File this under "better than sitting on the couch, but just barely". Good company, though.

Biking (Joe Dirt Gravel) 2:28:30 [3] 26.15 mi (10.6 mph) +2385ft
shoes: Airborne Delta CX

Huge turnout for this ride. Rode with Luke and Bob. Some things never change, like playing catchup after downhills and Luke waiting at the tops of the climbs...but some things do, like riding all of the hills I had to walk last year. Very fun to be out riding with the guys, but halfway through I wasn't feeling another lap. I'm going to have to get into a mindset of sticking with things, but maybe I'll leave that for February. In the end, I'm pretty happy we didn't ride another lap bc it probably would've been dark by the time we finished.
