I played it safe and wound up getting back earlier than I anticipated. I finished in the middle of the pack 31/62. I found 14/24 controls. I probably could have found a couple more controls without incurring a penalty if I had not turned around and started to head back as early as I did.

On the whole the weather was very nice.

Control Pickup

I picked up 6 of the northern most controls on the course. Sometimes I followed trails, at one point I followed a stream, I also cut cross country a bit. I'm not sure on the exact time or distance for this task; the numbers I entered are rough estimates. I will update these numbers once my Garmin stops acting funky.
