Awesome race with Eco and Kim! Team TA3 did great - 3rd place in our category.

Adventure racing race 7:00:00 [4]

We started on bikes - we positioned ourselves way in the back and rode the entire leg with the 'course sweeper' - thanks for keeping us company, Bash!
It took us about 2hrs to ride about 25km.
After we got the Hub area, we re-fueled and started on a canoe, did 6 CPs close to the water edge; Kim did an awesome job getting across the water in a tube while Eco and I cooled ourselves in the lake. Then we were off to the diving section where Kim's lifeguard skills were put to the test - she was in and out in no time! After docking the canoe, we checked in with the CP staff, re-fueled again and were off to finish the CPs close by: slingshot (unfortunately with no score), Rockstar photoshoot and a swamp CP.
We were done with 1hr to spare but knew we wouldn't be able to manage any more CPs and be back in time.
We still ended up on the podium with a 3rd place!!!! Great job, TA3!

...note to myself: do not eat a whole watermelon 1hr before jogging!!!!!
