First completed track workout! It was raining hard and I was very tired and didn't hit any of my times but that's ok because I finished it! 8x400 with 200 m jog in between each. I was supposed to start at 1:20 and drop to 1:09 but....yeah no.

Times were 1:24, 1:24, 1:24, 1:22, 1:20, 1:23, 1:21, 1:25.

I kinda died a lot by the end. My average last year for this was 1:18. Foot hurt a little bit after the first 2 but it went away :)

Open 800 2nd heat
I was seeded at 2:30 which put me at 5th. I was really really nervous since I have barely run since February. When I did the track workout the other day I didn't think I could go faster than 2:45 so running 2:30 seemed impossible. The first 400 we went out really slow at 74 and I was just staying in the front pack since I didn't feel confident leading. Then I picked it up and negative split (heeeyyy) and I ended up winning by like 30 meters! (Second heat but still and I beat a lot of people in the first heat too) I was super duper happy and my legs were realllllyyy tired. Good way to start running again if you ask me :)
Foot hurt a little bit after I raced but not bad, then I took some Advil and iced which helped.
