running race (Time trial!!!!!!!!!!!!) 5:10 [5] 1.5 km (3:27 / km)

super-awesome time trial at practice with a super-awesome rabbit (Kelli)!
82, 85, 84 for the first 3 laps. I don't feel like doing the math right now to see how much I picked up the pace at the end. But Liz was watching her watch and she said to herself, "Uh oh, she has to run a 17-second 100 if she wants to run a 5:10!" And then I did run a 17-second 100, even though the fastest 200 I've run in practice was a 36!

The past 2 workouts I've run, I haven't been able to hit mile pace when I should have, and that's when I thought my mile pace was a 5:40! So it's good to know that I'm not in worse shape, I'm probably just not used to speed workouts since I've only done 3 at mile pace so far this season. Good confidence boost when I didn't expect it!!!

Also, I'm 8 seconds faster than I was the season before I PR'd in the 1600.
