walking 36:44 intensity: (12:48 @0) + (23:20 @1) + (36 @2) 1.77 mi (20:45 / mi) +48m 19:09 / mi
ahr:102 max:122

Treadmill on an incline, to gently push my foot. Was really trying not to ego-workout, and I think it worked! Foot was a bit tight/achey at the beginning, possibly from walking more earlier in the day than I have been. So I super slowed down until it felt better and never really pushed the pace. And foot feeling better (so far) the next day!

Excitingly, no headachey feeling! To be expected, since this was very un-intense, but I'm hoping I can use this to make progress on the foot even if the headaches don't immediately get better with the meds.

running drills (walking ones) 6:00 [1]

The headache doctor encouraged me to google-scholar stuff to help me decide which medication route to go, and it looks like easy warmups are also supposed to help--didn't see anything specifically manipulating warmup time, but I think it's just inferred from the likely mechanism (which they actually don't know really but there are guesses/risk factors).

Roller derby 20:00 intensity: (10:00 @1) + (10:00 @2)
shoes: Skates, solaris + reactor pro

Easy drills on the first floor of my lab building, bc there's smooth concrete. Working on trying to push off better changing rear-foot position in snake walk, but not quite there yet... an instagram video suggested getting better at doing an Ina Bauer as a way to build that part of the skill.

Note

Hematologist appointment today to explain why different pcp's tell me different things about ferritin cutoffs, and to make a sustainable plan for making sure I stay in a good range instead of yoyo-ing like I have in the past. Was very helpful! And she said consistent things to my new pcp (but not old), so made me feel like the change was worth the effort.
