Fell asleep at 9 last night, then slept almost 10 hours!
3 lbs, core on side ones

Saturday Feb 27, 2010 #

8 AM

strength 5:00 [1]

w/o weights, w/ abs on side ones.
1 PM

elliptical warm up/down 10:00 [3] 1.5 mi (6:40 / mi)

core/legs 37:00 [4] 3.1 mi (11:56 / mi)

4x{100 (1 exercise), 200 (2 exercises), 300 (3 exercises)}
I tried to do the same pace for all the distances, and so I felt like I was about to die on the 300's. Especially the 2 that finished into the wind.
then a mile just running, but not fast. But it felt hard because I was really tired. On the first lap of the mile, I did half the bleachers. That was really hard, but I stopped because I wasn't fresh enough to move my legs quickly and so it wasn't very satisfying.

aqua-jogging 1:00:02 [2]

I was tired, and so my muscles were working a lot harder than my heart. I tried to keep pushing moderately the whole way.

strength 5:00 [1]

w/o abs, w/ whatever weight was in the things, probably 2 lbs each leg.
7 AM

elliptical 12:00 [3]

after pool-running; legs tired

aqua-jogging 1:18:00 [2]

"long run"

7 AM

aqua-jogging 1:10:25 [3]

short-ish swimming part, then medium-hard pool-running. I had to leave after that to go to lab meeting and eat 2 muffins that were really good. I think they had ginger in them.
1 PM

core/legs 31:00 [3]

I did hard circuit today. I'm tired of planks, they're boring and don't get my heart rate up.

aqua-jogging 1:02:00 [2]

1 PM

core/legs 38:00 [3] 2.1 mi (18:06 / mi)

so I tried to go out and run after pool-running, but I was pretty tired and decided it'd have to wait till later. felt a lot better in the afternoon. Got really tired, opened up my stride on the straight-aways, felt good.

Distance may be 400m short.

aqua-jogging 1:01:10 [2]

This was uneventful. I was really tired from yesterday and didn't feel capable of swimming intervals.

core/legs 30:00 [2]

This was boring until I started doing leg exercises! (Luckily I started the leg stuff after 10 minutes.) And then yes, Alison and Drew, I picked routes on an Oxford map and played high-low and did some routes on a Karlstad map:) Hopefully soon I can get home to print the 20-some Norwegian maps I found w/ courses and no routes!

strength 5:00 [1]

I need to start setting my alarm for 6:25 instead of 6:30. The past 2 mornings I've had everything packed and *still* had to run to the metro stop to make it on time.

Monday Feb 22, 2010 #

6 AM

strength 5:00 [1]

no weights, abs on sides.
7 AM

aqua-jogging 1:10:40 [3]

AWESOME pool-run w/ T. We did the whole sprint down, recovery back thing. I was absolutely exhausted after 30 minutes, and so I tried to do a swim workout instead and barely finished 10 minutes before I just had to do a cool-down. it was fun!

running 21:00 [3] 2.33 mi (9:00 / mi)

First did routes on a Swedish JWOC map, picking where I would read ahead after I picked each route. And then imagining running the route, and picking the next one while I was "reading ahead." I finished that in like 10 or 15 minutes, and then I counted climb. No real big mistakes.
