Corridor training at Great Falls. I drew a corridor approximately 76m wide (50 pixels at 150 pix/inch). I made sure the corridor occasionally crossed recognizable features. The only time I did this before, the corridor was 100m wide, and I had a lot of trouble with it. This time I was only off in a few places and close enough to correct. So maybe that's progress. Mostly walking, but never had to backtrack.
It's a little hard to analyze the track, because the map I'm using isn't georeferenced. But I think my bearings were off a couple of times, where the contour features were too vague to be useful, and it's really hard to get back in touch with the contours after you lose them.
