O race near Fribourg. Did well enough but the thick forests were slowing me down quite a bit. I also had about four controls in a row, in the middle part of the race, where I totally didn't spike them. I made one navigational error and other than that spat of non-spikes I had a good race.

Only 17 minutes behind the leader, as opposed to 30 plus last week! Now I've got to get that down to only 15 behind, then 10, then... who knows.

Map training with OLG Bern. This was tough! It was a no compass exercise on a map with randomly reduced trails on the map. It was tough to do this when there were people around. I normally don't have an issue with ignoring people in the woods, but today, without a compass, it was definitely an issue. This also impressed upon me exactly how much I do use my compass. I didn't really have a good time but it was a training and it was map time...

STB Group run. We did a pyramid, 2, 3, 4, 5 and back down with 2 rest between. I ran with Katrine(?) and we set a good pace. She's fast too!
