SVO STUMBLE - Did the long stumble and had at least one good stumble on each half. I am happy with my result. no major problems and I didnt cramp up like last year.
covered 15.26km on a 12.8km course 119%
I only got to stick with some lead runners through #3. I messed up a bit on 4 and lost ground. Bounced back and forth with Ron B. from maybe control 7 through 12.
I was really wondering if should do the long or not but I'm glad I did. Hopefully, I will feel the same way tomorrow :)
BOX SEQUENCE:
A - B - C - D
G - H - F - E (I missed H running too far on trail - trying to impress hikers?)
D - A - B - C didn't want to climb more than I had to.
Looking at last year's finish, I did that with a pace of 14:59/km.
This was much better somewhere around 12:40/km
AND compared to the 2015 Billygoat of 13:30/km still an improvement.
