a late afternoon run up nugget hill then a bit up LHC with james. totally beautiful outside... sun was peeking out from (and setting) right below a very thick layer of clouds. snowy terrain for the duration, which keeps it interesting. 30 mins of shoveling and firewood shuffling afterwards.

a solid 1.5 hrs of shoveling 2 feet of snow from the driveway, with james. borrowed a 2nd snow shovel from the neighbors. brittany spaniel got out / bolted. dog chase in the dark. no assistance tracking her down with the 4runner, parked in the road while we shoveled. battery died. you know, the usual tuesday night....

Somewhat of a crazy run home in the dark in close to blizzard / white out conditions. Lefthand via Greenbriar Inn. First several miles were okay but conditions really deteriorated for last 3 miles. Could barely see the road, which nearly put me into the creek a few times. Snow got really deep - could have used snow shoes over yak trax for sure. Ahh well, fun! Needed that adventure!
