Orienteering race 50:00 [3]
Vampire O!
Ran with Kate.
Filmed a bit in the beginning, playing with my new gimbal! Then stopped by the car to put the film equipment away so I could actually nav.
It was a really pleasant evening for running around a park and forest! Nice and cool.
3 or 4 times, we were 30 yards away from getting bit. Poor Julie. She got bit more times than she can remember on her first Vampire O! ha.
Delicious Odin Brewing after, with a round of our new speed game, Rainbow 35.

This is supposed to be "hell week" at OT, and ironically, I get the least amount of splat points I've ever gotten. ha!
I guess when faced with having to do 60 reps of something, I err on the side of light weights. And when faced with a 15% incline, I err on the side of going a bit slower. ;)
This was the "Silence of the Limbs" workout. I'm returning today for "Harry Potter and the Goblet Squat of Fire".

Dance 2:00:00 [1]
Tap, then Broadway Jazz.
I had my worst episode of getting totally confused in Tap today. Karen was super patient though. I think I'm going to take the whole Basic class again so that I get a really firm foundation.
Broadway Jazz felt like a bit of a recovery in comparison. I was able to get my choreo on-track and learn the new moves. AND WE SHIMMIED. Like, elbows to ribs, jazz hands out, lean slightly back, and shake yo' shoulders (boobs). It was awesome. Plus more of taking our bowler hats off and putting them back on again. Why is that so fun? It is.

I'm really glad that Julie was set on going (I was on the fence). It was a beautiful day in a beautiful park, and we found things in the woods.
