OrangeTheory 50:00 [4]

Orange Theory with Kate and Linnea! For the running section: I ran 8mph @ 1% for .8 mile Then 200m row I ran 7 to 8mph (gradually increasing) @ 4% for .4 mile Then 400m row I ran 7mph @ 8% for .2 mile Then ran out of time before finishing 800m row... and class ended 5 minutes early, so I didn't get my All Out at the end! WAH! And weight room stuff. V-ups are hard.

OrangeTheory 1:00:00 intensity: (15:00 @2) + (25:00 @3) + (15:00 @4) + (5:00 @5)

Ooorange theorry with Linneaaaa.

Started with rowers/weights and was in the green zone a lot.

Tried to stay in the lower part of the orange zone on the treads (5.5mph base pace and 7.5mph push), and being conservative in that way meant that my all outs could be 9mph and 10mph+ respectively.

TAP!

Dance 1:00:00 [2]

Stayed after TAP to take BROADWAY JAZZ!!

And we have TOP HATS.

Learning Bye Bye Blackbird by Fosse.

My choreography brain is still slow. I like, get the moves, and can do the moves, but I freak out when trying to remember what comes next, then I miss the first step, then I'm behind, then I'm flailing. Oy. Come on, brain.

Fortunately, I can find our dance on YouTube which will make it easier to practice at home!

CORN MAAAAZE!!

Amazing, as always, thanks to Patrick.

And I found them all! Which is success at Corn Maze.

Only one brief mistake on the first map, after I kept seeing Julie. When I got my second map, I saw that there were tricky bits and it would be easy to accidentally skip controls (like I did last year!) so I took a bit more time while planning with my Sharpie, in hopes that I could just trust my route.

Well, I still did a lot of slowing down to double-check out in the field, but that's okay, because it was relatively clean! Although Kate was brazen and went out on the second map without planning at all! Crazy.

Nice to hang out in the sun with peeps afterward, then get meals at McMenamins. Lots of laughs and pondering what it would mean to start a maze running event series. ha.
