Course Clearing the Spring Scamper w/Skip/E 55#pack
Started just after everyone finished the course. E walked a little but pretty quickly got in the pack. It was a cold day so she was very bundled up.

I carried a flag or two so I didn't have to stop and take off the pack at every control. It was difficult getting everything in the pack including the candy containers they left at 5 controls. E helped manage carrying things like controls, map, and water bottles. Also did a great job looking for creek crossings, climbing sticks, and keeping an eye on Skip.

Caught the wrong (unmapped road) on our 3rd control and had to recover. Also wandered a bit before finding the far east control.

Skip did great and really enjoyed the adventure.

DIdn't get much sleep last night so I was tired in the AM. I took a nap to try and catch back up.

Legs were ready to do some work but didn't quite seem fully recovered. Pace was on the slower side. Felt mostly ok on the ride. It was nice to get out and work.

Library, Mark's house, and then meeting the girls at the grocery store for a ride home.

I felt a little light-headed and quesy after the ride in and given the rain and the fact that the girls were driving by at the same time I figured it best just to get a ride home.

I was happy to at least get to ride in.

E fell early on and was a bit cranky the rest of the ride. We made it though. Nut did a lot of waiting for us. Want to get her out on her own so we can maybe try a bit more. ALso looking for a better bike for E.

Felt much better after a long night's sleep but still a lot of congestion. Throat not too bad but not great.
