cold (upper 40s) and rainy trail run in rock creek. a single polypro t-neck was not quite enough, hands especially were cold. added on a little at the end, but I was not warm enough to do much more. at least no sneezing.

slow jogging with Eliza on her bike. then after we got home we did her first practice session without training wheels, lots of up and down the street. she's not tall enough to easily reach the ground with her feet while sitting on the bike, so will need to learn differently than Samantha. She needs full-time balancing help, meaning a lower-back workout for me. but she was really into it, and seemed to be making progress. My prediction is that she'll be riding by herself before summer.

home finally around 2am, after getting bumped from my 7pm flight (that apparently happened in january, I just never read the email) to a different 10pm one, and then departing an hour late on account of gate changing, pilots missing, and overhead bins filling. good times.
