a very nice rainy run in rock creek, dc. the trail crew has been at work since I was last here, fixing up more water bars and even adding new retaining walls and bridges. no aleve today, and arm felt fine when running, even though it's still sore if I try to lift/push stuff.

forearm strain hurt enough this morning that I took some aleve. it didn't really interfere with running once I got going though. mostly a problem for lifting stuff (like Eliza) and turning doorknobs. also hurts if I try to straighten my arm all the way.

tripped and fell pretty hard over a half step while double-parked and rushing in to get Indian take-out. minor whack to right knee and wrist on sidewalk, and forehead against glass door. it seems like I also strained something in my upper right forearm near the elbow. nothing very serious, but good work nonetheless.
