I needed something specific for telemark, so I did a mix of control picking and line-o on a contours only version of baldwin hill. it was lots of fun since the terrain is very interesting (that's 250m between the north lines)...for anyone who hasn't seen the real map, there are a zillion rocks and stone walls. there's even a little bit of negative terrain. the woods were really nice, and since I got confused in a few places, I felt like it was a good warmup for next weekend.

it was warmer today, and I felt slow. at least I had the telemark map along for "entertainment"...an interesting exercise is to look at some place (I've randomly drawn a lot of circles) and try to figure out what's up and what's down.

my right hamstring has felt really tight behind the knee yesterday and today. I tried stretching some, but I don't know how much that helped. wasn't bothering me at all when running, only when walking. will have to watch that.
