I think that I might have shin splints. Pain is very similar, but I really did not do that much pounding the last couple days. I originally thought that it was just a strained muscle, but the pain is getting worse and only affects it when pressure is on it. Going to keep an Ace wrap on it for a while and will do just biking/roller skiing/strength until it gets back to normal.

7-04 I now know that it is not shin splints. After talking with Pauli yesterday we concluded that it was probably just a strained muscle from ski walking. Feeling a lot better today, and should be normal by tomorrow.

It was probably just a strain of the Tibialis anterior muscle. I think that it was caused from too much ski walking too soon. I had not done any this year so far and to put it all on at once, I think that it just strained the muscle. I think that I will need to do ski walking at least a little bit each week to keep the muscle strong.
