L Lower Leg, Achilles Tendonitis

pre xmas 09 - ran road 12kms in trail shoes - insufficient support for pronation causing achilles to run off line within its sheath - this only 4 months since recovering from last achilles injury - bugger!

Tried a run a few days later when it seemed ok but it fell apart over xmas when did some walking

Need a good layoff, lots of stretching.

Have come back too soon.. Had a bit of a layoff then an easy jog jan 9th in snow (good) another Jan 13th (not so good) then a short race Jan 17th which was achey then CSC Jan 24th on Malvern which has left a bit of a lump - doh!

Limped through the NSL and gave up running at the start of march.
At end of march jogged arounf Dudmaston then a gym session without pain. Start of April ran 4 days at JK without pain. This is just like the pattern from last year. Must avoid hard road running.

it just needs 100 days to recover............
