R Lower Leg, Shin Splints

had level 1 shin splints all along but managed them. series of events over last few days pushed them over the edge.
27 august as still tender but not hurting. Forgot to put ice on them last night after the run. Will see if I can remember to ice them at work.
1 sept - still icing them, especially after city to surf. Not to bad now though, def getting better but slowly.
15/11/08 shins feeling a lot better but physio says no running until i strengthen my shins and supporting muscles.

Get a definitive diagnosis first, then treat.
