Having fallen so many weeks ago suddenly this morning it is huge. Dr said its an inflammed bursa and gave me anti inflammatories and said one week rest should cure it.
2 weeks later eneral swelling gone but have very large lump, pretty hard, and no feeling in skin on outside edge. Still painful, especially if I straighten or bend leg fully or go up hill or stairs. Pressure on lump is excruciating and brings pain to top of patella where patella tendon is.
